HELP University Organ Donation Drive Campaign - A Gift of Life

Slogan of the Campaign: You don’t need to be a doctor to save lives. Be an organ donor.

18th of March was a great day in Help University - a campaign known as ‘A Gift of Life’ was organized by Psychology students together with The National Transplant Resource Centre. The campaign aimed to increase public awareness on the importance and purpose of organ donation to avoid any misconceptions about it. It is a good platform for students to express their doubts and fears about organ donation and also a chance for them to pledge as organ donors.

We as one of the sponsors for the event gave our full support by giving away FREE F&B vouchers for HELP students who attended the event. A simple act had actually raised the interest of students to drop by to this meaningful event.

Apart from Worthy Book, there were also other booths selling food, arts & crafts, books and boxes of ladies skin care products.

A great number of HELP students had truly showed their love and compassion by pledging as organ donors to help those in need.  We believe the number of organ donors will increase further after the campaign. Stay tuned for their Organ Donation Run on 26 May 2013!

Lastly, we congratulate them for putting in so much effort in this worthy campaign which resulted in the number of organ donors exceeding 100 people on the day itself!
