Secret Santa
Hi there! Thanks for popping in. We had a super surprise today, Worthy Book had set up a lovely Secret Santa for the whole team and Intern farewell party.
The annual office programme “Secret Santa”, what a beloved tradition in Worthy Book (WB). In a Secret Santa gift exchange, a group of gift-givers is randomly and anonymously assigned which fellow person they will provide a gift for. Then, each participant must guess which person gave them the gift – who was their Secret Santa? But in our case no guessing and the identity of each Secret Santa remains secret.
All the gifts were placed under our little Christmas Tree in our office
Once everyone gathered at the Christmas Tree, its time for the gifting. Everyone was excited and delighted with the gift they received from the “Secret Santa”. We are encouraged to open the gift in front of everyone, so the excitement will be captured during the Secret Santa session.
It was indeed a great and fun day for everyone who participated in this Secret Santa annual programme. Here’s the Worthy Book team posing with their gifts received. To many more adventures and memories with Worthy Book!
Time flies when you are having fun. After playing the Secret Santa, it was farewell party to the interns after 3 months with Worthy Book. All of them come from the different backgrounds and universities. Everyone was sort of mixed feeling realizing that they have come through a memorable and wonderful journey together and being extremely helpful and create great teamwork between interns and permanents.
Over their journey together, all the interns gained real-world work experience which would help them in the future. Worthy Book would like to thank all the interns for their amazing contribution and service throughout 12 weeks of industrial training. We wish the interns the best in their future endeavours.
We had Domino’s Pizza for lunch! We threw the diet out of the window and hoovered up the cheese and garlic bread. This the only pizza photo that we managed to take since we were so starving.
