Ramadan is a time of reflection, gratitude, and
togetherness. It is also a season of delightful feasts, where families and
friends gather to break their fast with an abundance of traditional and modern
delicacies. This year, we had the privilege of being invited to Eastin
Hotel’s Ramadan Buffet 2025, themed "Icip-Icip Kampungku."
The experience was nothing short of spectacular, as it transported me on a
nostalgic journey through the flavors of Malaysia’s kampung-style cuisine.
The main course selection was truly a feast for the senses. The Traditional Roast Lamb, grilled to perfection, was a definite crowd favorite. Accompanied by a selection of sauces, the tender and juicy meat melted in my mouth. Some examples of the cuisines prepared are: Ayam Penyet Cabai Hijau, Sambal Belut Sukarasa, Gulai Ayam Kampung, Traditional Roasted Lamb, Aneka Goreng Goreng, Kerabu Kerang, Chocolate fountain and many more. My favourite was the Wagyu Udon and Gearbox Soup.
Our visit to Eastin Hotel’s "Icip-Icip Kampungku" Ramadan Buffet 2025 was an unforgettable experience. From the warm hospitality and beautifully curated kampung atmosphere to the exquisite flavors of traditional Malay cuisine, every aspect of the evening was thoughtfully designed to create a truly immersive and delightful iftar.
I would highly recommend this buffet to anyone looking for an authentic, heartwarming, and delicious way to celebrate Ramadan.
