Worthy Book celebrates International Women’s Day by sponsoring 500 Lady voucher booklets
Worthy Book presented its ‘Ladies Edition’ voucher
booklets as a gift to hundreds of female members, staff and volunteers in
various charity, associations and companies across Klang Valley today in
celebration of the International Women’s Day.

Worthy Book, the voucher booklet company hand-delivered
the booklets to Pink Ribbon Wellness (L) Foundation and National Association of
Women Entrepreneurs of Malaysia (NAWEM) among others. Booklets are also
sponsored for the upcoming International Women’s Day Run at the University
of Malaya (UM) happening on Sunday, 9th of March. Other recipients of the booklets include women
professionals in the corporate sector.
Each
‘Ladies Edition’ booklet features
over 30 top brands and has more than 100 vouchers inside which cater to women
from head-to-toe, ranging from fashion to beauty products; spa & massages
to wellness programs offering a total worth of over RM10,000 in savings.
Citing the reason for honouring the special day,
Worthy Book Manager, Han Jia said “We feel women contribute a lot to society,
workforce, economy and family. In fact, 60% of our team consists of females. We
would like to show our appreciation in recognition of their contribution.”

Executive Secretary of NAWEM, Mayi Chang said that the
booklets were a tribute gift, and that the hardworking ladies of NAWEM would

continue to do a great job and hope our small gesture would encourage other
corporates to do more.”
